  • AWESOME !!! I see why this is a must try while visiting Tuscaloosa. The best catfish I’ve ever had my God! I also had the mild lemon pepper wings which were just as good. I tried the hurricane and tornado drinks, the for years my favorite but both hit the spot. Check my ig for a full review yo_baylahhh_

  • Me & Bae ran to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to escape Hurricane Francine. I was craving some seafood & searched around & discovered this place They had pretty good reviews. As you can see the sign says that they have the best catfish & wings in town. They only offered Hot wings & I'm not a fan of hot so I got the catfish. It was so good & delicious! The Catfish was a generous in size, well seasoned & oh so savory Crinkle cut Fries were so delicious; tender on the inside & crunchy on the outside Everything was hot & fresh! I think I heard someone say it's MADE TO ORDER! Almost reminded me of home! I was glad we came in for a visit! Plus, the women behind the counter were so nice & sweet they were an absolute pleasure to talk to! Can't thank Catfish Heaven enough, for a terrific experience!

  • Simple menu and a line out the door because people love it. Definitely a local favorite. Carry out focused with a few seats inside, but don’t plan on them being available for you to use. Fries are a little soggy and they put way too much ice in their cups. If you have trouble getting your straw in - maybe cut back?!

  • Every time im in Tuscaloosa I make sure I stop by here. The food is fresh, well seasoned and cooked and definitely the best place iv found in town to get fish. Definitely make sure to try one of their homemade drinks they go down way to easy not to grab two for yourself

  • Some of the best food in Tuscaloosa! Decided to give this place a try when my coworkers gave the recommendation. While I was a bit disappointed to learn that they were out of catfish once I arrived; decided to try their wings our instead. I was not disappointed! Got a 10 PC Combo with a Hurricane (Fruit Punch Kool Aid). The food was fresh, the fries were well seasoned, and the drink was delicious. If you're near the university and want some good wings and/or catfish, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

  • I drive from Birmingham to Tuscaloosa for the catfish. Sometimes the wings are small but that's ok. The service is good. Mrs. Margaret takes care of us every time.

  • The catfish may be heaven sent (it truly is), but that strawberry cake is the . Nooo it’s absolutely delicious. The food was good, hot, and fresh. The catfish is some of the freshest I’ve had in a long time. We turned around to go and get more cake. The red velvet is super moist and delicious. If you’re in the area, give them a try!

  • WOW! We drove well over an hour away to check out this place. It’s so difficult to find restaurants nowadays that truly care about providing fresh, cooked to order and hot food with fantastic, polite service. This place was a breath of fresh air! The portion size was very generous for the price. My husband and I could easily have split one catfish plate. It came with several pieces of catfish, plenty of fries, white bread, and hush puppies. Speaking of the hush puppies…man oh man were they delicious! We placed a second order and got another side of them. They didn’t have a dedicated kids menu which could be a downfall for some families with young kids that don’t eat very much. Our son ordered the 8-piece wing basket with the garlic parmesan sauce. It was better than any garlic parm sauce at any other wing place hands down. They use actual fresh garlic and that makes all the difference in the flavor if you’re a garlic fan like we are. The only drawback to this place is the lack of seating indoors. There’s 4 tables total that can hold up to 4 people each. Anyone waiting inside for their take out order can either sit at the few spare chairs available or take up seating at a table from those that actually want to sit to have a meal. My only suggestion would be to perhaps call the customer when their order is ready so they can wait in their vehicle instead during peak lunch or dinner times. For locals, takeout might be best during peak hours. There was definitely a lot of that happening. This place was busy and for good reason. What a gem! We will definitely be back very soon!
